I was playing around with a limited palette and perfectly round eyeballs. Her tinted shades are her attempt to subdue the utter panic on her face. And I think she thinks that her shirt is fooling us.
To be honest, this is one of those paintings that looks way cooler in person. I mean, they all do, but the subtle shades of tan look so much better on this painting than they do as a print.
Painted on 16x20" canvas board. Canvas board is mostly flat, so this painting fits nicely in a store-bought frame if you take the glass out. These fit nicely in Ikea Ribba frames, which are super affordable. You can also get it professionally framed or just set it unframed on a shelf.
