She's cute. The painting is pretty and symmetrical. It's light and fun and weird. But also... she's stretching herself too far, in a fully unnatural way. Overreaching, you know? Sometimes we harm ourselves to achieve an external expression of cuteness. But she's coping.
I called this painting "Peace" not only for the peace signs she's holding up, but also because it's what I wish for her. And me. And you. I wish I could give us all a deeper sense of peace, and take away that urge to contort ourselves to meet other people's expectations.
She's painted on 24"x30" wrapped canvas. It sticks out .75" from the wall. She'd look great in a frame, but if you don't want to do that, let me know and I'll finish her around the edges for you and install a wire hanger on the back.
If you're in the Calgary area, I will deliver her to you and send you a refund for the shipping cost. I might be able to swing delivery to Edmonton too. Otherwise I'll ship her safely in a fortress of cardboard and bubble wrap.
