This is a 20-point chart showing Philadelphia buildings of architectural, cultural, or social importance, all of which were bulldozed or burned out of existence between 1838 and 2018. Of special value to the artist: the 1855 Tower Hall (a slim seven-storey Norman castle proto-skyscraper), the commercial fortress that was the Guarantee Trust Co. on Chestnut Street, and early queer hangout Dewey’s. Printed in an open edition, signed and dated on reverse.
